cletus labs Manifesto
I built cletus labs because I wanted to make it easier for researchers to turn their data into something they can actually see and use, without having to pay thousands for someone to build them a model.
The problem is not the data. Researchers are sitting on some of the most valuable datasets in the world. The problem is the gap between having data and having a working prediction in front of you. That gap is filled with infrastructure decisions, framework choices, and engineering work that has nothing to do with the science. It should not exist.
cletus labs closes that gap. You upload what you know, and we hand you back a live API that knows it too. No configuration. No training loops. No infrastructure to manage. Just your data in, your model out.
I believe this will help researchers discover more. More discovery means more innovation. More innovation is good for everyone. The bottleneck right now is not intelligence or curiosity, it is access. Access to tools that turn observations into predictions without requiring a software engineering team.
Imagine if Newton had a dataset of falling objects and could call an API to predict the trajectory of any new one. Imagine if Einstein could upload light deflection measurements and get a model back in minutes. The ideas were always there. The tools were not.
cletus labs is my attempt to make sure the tools are no longer the limiting factor.
